• Dine Out for Tipped Workers!

  When: Wednesday, March 17th
  Where: Any restaurant that tips their servers
  Why: Some Alaskan legislators are considering a law that would allow employers to keep all future minimum wage increases.

  DOING THIS WOULD TAKE MONEY OUT OF THE POCKETS OF HARD WORKING ALASKANS.

  Dining out for tipped workers on Wednesday, March 17th would get the word out to people on what is going on.

• It's Now or Never for Health Care Reform

  The House and Senate have passed health care reform measures. But now they have to hammer out a final bill they all can agree on. We have to keep the pressure on to ensure that the final version will help, not hurt, working families.

  Urge him or her to support working families by voting for health care reform that:

  • DOES NOT tax our health care benefits.
  • Requires employers to pay their fair share.
  • Reduces costs—and the best way to do that is with a public health care option.
