A.L.I.V.E. Raffle Results
ALIVE RAFFLE UPDATE
A sincere thank you to everyone who participated in the ALIVE raffle drawing. Through the generosity of the participants who purchased raffle tickets, all 500 tickets were sold and the winners are being issued checks. As you know, the balance of the proceeds is used to benefit our political candidates that support our Labor issues.
The 2010 election year is fast approaching and promises to be busy and extensive. The Alaska State Legislature will have 40 House and ten Senate seats up for election, in addition to seats for the governor and lieutenant governor for the state of Alaska, and local assembly and school board races around the state. The congressional seat for the United States House of Representatives is also open in 2010.
Again, thank you for participating in your Local's political activities. Our members can and do make a difference.
